Kotlin in Google Cloud: Browser, backend, and back again

Kotlin Multiplatform has been gaining a lot of traction over the last few years. It's now possible to build full-stack web applications that use Kotlin for both the frontend and backend. Isaac has been running applications like this on Google Cloud, and this talk covers how that works; Compose/WASM served from Cloud Storage and a Kotlin/JVM backend on Cloud Run. In this session, Isaac will cover: * How to build a backend, shared logic, and a web frontend with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose/WASM * How to deploy this to Google Cloud * The advantages (and disadvantages) of this approach
